As infants and toddlers grow and change, they need safe environments that offer a variety of opportunities for exploration, play, and discovery. This workshop will provide ideas and strategies for creating environments that provide choices, are familiar and stable, invite freedom to move, are appropriately challenging, and enhance learning and development.

This training will be held in person at Center For Child And Family Services located at 739 Thimble Shoals Blvd Suite 400, Newport News, VA 23606
This training will define rest in the toddler classroom, identify and discuss routines and activities that support rest, and finally provide strategies to create meaningful interactions between families, children, and educators to support positive rest time
