Affordable childcare & education discussion hosted in Newport News

FirstSpark and Women United convened leaders across Newport News to highlight the struggles surrounding childcare. The event “Child Care: Everybody’s Business,” welcomed more than 80 leaders representing local businesses, schools, healthcare institutions, and nonprofit organizations; in addition to Delegate Shelly Simonds who served as a panelist.
